There is something about the jasmine and musk combination in the dry down that I find really appealing for evenings. The opening is fresh and the transition to the warmer base is smooth. A good date night or dinner fragrance that is not too loud.
The saffron does not last long on my skin but the oud and cedar heart takes over quickly and stays for hours. The leather in the base is detectable but not overwhelming. Altogether a warm comforting fragrance that I enjoy wearing in the evenings.
Grew up around proper oud burning and this fragrance captures that atmosphere well. Not identical obviously but the incense and agarwood combination brings back that feeling. The saffron is a nice modern touch. Really satisfied with this one.
This is the third bottle I have purchased. That should tell you enough. The fragrance wears well in all seasons though I prefer it in cooler months. The leather and incense dry down is the part that keeps me coming back.
This is the third bottle I have purchased. The oak moss and ambroxan dry down is the reason I keep coming back. The fruit and citrus top notes are enjoyable but it is the base that makes this fragrance special. Really distinctive without being difficult to wear.
Projection is strong but not antisocial. Longevity is well over 8 hours on my skin. The scent opens with spicy saffron and dries to a nice smoky woody base. A proper fragrance. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys oriental style scents.
I am fairly particular about oud fragrances and this one passes the test. The saffron opening is warm not sharp. The oud heart is proper wood not that chemical oud you get in some brands. The incense and leather base sits nicely. No complaints.
Bought this for myself and now my flatmates keep borrowing it. The blackcurrant and bergamot opening gets people interested and the warm musk and cedar base keeps them hooked. A very agreeable fragrance that seems to appeal to different tastes.
For what this costs the quality is impressive. The opening is fresh and citrusy without smelling cheap. The pineapple and jasmine heart is smooth and well blended. The base with birch and ambroxan has real depth. Have been recommending it to friends.
Wanted a proper oud fragrance that did not smell cheap or synthetic. This delivers. The agarwood smells real and the saffron adds warmth without being a curry smell like some cheaper versions. The cedar grounds it nicely.
When I cannot decide what to wear I reach for this. The bergamot opening is fresh and approachable. The jasmine and patchouli heart is smooth. The musk dry down is clean and effortless. It works for almost any occasion which makes it incredibly useful.
That probably says everything. The pineapple and jasmine combination is addictive. It is fruity and floral without tipping into feminine territory. The musk and cedar base is clean and lingering. This is my most used fragrance right now.
Wore this to a family gathering and my mother stopped me and asked what I was wearing. Ended up ordering a bottle for her too. The rose and oud combination seems to appeal across ages. Warm comforting and not too modern.
I keep wearing this specifically for the dry down. The oak moss and ambroxan together smell really rich and complex. The journey there is pleasant too - bergamot and blackcurrant open things nicely. But it is the base that makes me reach for this one regularly.
I keep coming back to this one for dinners and events. It just feels appropriate for those occasions. The oud and rose combination is warm without being too sweet. A few people have asked what I am wearing. Good sign.
